How i Co-wash my hair and what i use.
Above is what i used to wash my hair ( Cantu moisturizing Rinse Out Conditioner) i did not use any shampoo in my hair this time. A lot of shampoos strip your hair of too much moisture. I usually wash my hair once a month with shampoo and condition twice a month. Some people say that is too much but i have been working hard and my hair has been getting dirtier than normal. You can see the thick shiny consistency so far so good.
So what you see above is how I wash/condition my hair before I get in the shower I put my hair into parts add conditioner, finger detangle ( means on separating hair gently with fingers) and then braid the section while the conditioner is still in my hair. Doing this helps further breakage while in shower. (Note: every ones hair sheds)
This is my washed out hair and my braids are still in-tacked. All you have to do in the shower is rinse water over your hair and squeeze the braid the conditioner is out. Notice how moisturized my hair and scalp look. Now all you have to do is style.

How i used Cantu Shea butter leave in as a rinse out.
After washing the cautu out of my hair and detangling i found that this product is a great moisturizing rinse out and can be used for deep conditioning. It is also good for detangling your hair. I am glad that i found a good use for the Cantu shea Butter leave in. This just goes to show you the some products are good even if they don't work the first time. You just have to figure out how it can work for you and your hair type.

I was still getting used to the natural hair. i wasn't used to seeing myself like this. it's also hard when other people say its cute and don't look the same as you.
